Kim Zanks, receptionist
Kim is our daytime receptionist.  She has been with the clinic since January 2005.  She grew up on her grandparent's farm here in Ellington and loves all kinds of animals.  She and her family have adopted 2 dogs and 7 cats.  She loves working where everyone loves animals as much as she does.
Barabara Duva, Receptionist
Barbara is our evening receptionist.  She is an avid friend to animals.  She loves dog walking and pet sitting.  She was a volunteer in a training program for guide dogs for the blind & handicapped.  She loves all furry animals, but has been friends with an iguana and a few snakes.  Barbara lives with a hamster named Pearl.  Barbara loves working in a place where she feels like she is helping animals and their families.
Megan Langevin, veterinary assistant
Megan has worked as a veterinary assistant at the ECAC since 2004.  She and her fiance live with a dog and 4 cats. Megan loves spending quality time with our hospitalized patients and educating new pet owners about puppy and kitten care.  Megan is also an avid horse trainer and enjoys riding/teaching/training horses.  Watch for her in local horse shows. 
Ron Caron, office manager
Ron is the office manager.  He is responsible for overseeing client services, human resources, community relations, payroll, inventory, book keeping and website development.  He has adopted "Shy" - a feline who is not shy at all.
Sandra Blossom, veterinary assistant
Sandra and her family have 2 Staffordshire Bull Terriers named Neo and Zoe, a short coat chihuahua named Mylie and a grey tiger cat named Maddie.  Sandra and her children love animals of all kinds.
Crystal Willis, veterinary assistant
Crystal and her family live on a farm in Ellington.  Crystal's love of animals runs deep in her family.  She has lots of beloved family pets, including a puppy, 4 cats, 3 sheep, 2 horses, 1 goat, 6 cows and 30 chickens!  Crystal has an Associate's Degree in Animal Science from UCONN and was very active in 4-H and the FFA.   Prior to working at ECAC, she worked at the CT Humane Society.  Crystal enjoys working with animals and their people.  She especially enjoys making pets comfortable when they are sick and helping them to a smooth recovery.
Staci Brower, veterinary assistant
Staci is a newlywed and recently moved to CT with her husband and their cat, Cassidy.  She is originally from Montana and enjoys traveling, kayaking, fishing, most kinds of music, scrapbooking and loves to read.    Staci loves animals for their loyalty, honest emotions, individual personalities and fun-love natures. 
Ashlee Leone, veterinary assistant

Ashlee is also a newlywed.  She and her husband live in Ellington with their dog, Ellie May.  Ashlee enjoys helping sick pets on their way to recovery.  She is caring and compassionate, likes to educate clients about medical conditions and research questions she cannot answer.  Ashlee has two quarter horses, Grayson and Honey.  When not at work, you can find Ashlee taking photographs or playing frisbee with Ellie May. 
Dave Beutel, veterinary assistant

Dave has worked at the Ellington Center Animal Clinic since 2005, after completing a student internship while at Ellington High School.  He is currently a student at the University of Connecticut and aspires to be a veterinarian.  He and his family live in Ellington with their two dogs and a cat.  Dave has a great sense of humor and loves to work with people and their pets. 
Jennifer Whitehead, veterinary assistant

Jenn has worked at the clinic since 2007.  She is an East Windsor native, graduated from East Windsor High School in 2005 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at UCONN.  She expects to graduate in 2009!  Jenn is a huge advocate for responsible rabbit owners.  She loves to educate new bunny owners.  She has 4 bunnies of her own (Honey, Toby, Bailey and Midnight) as well as a German Shepherd (Roxie) and a Bassett Hound (Molly).
Briana Lechkun, clinic assistant

Briana was a student intern from Ellington High School in the fall of 2008.  Upon completing her internship, she began a part-time job as the clinic assistant.  Briana is a high school junior.  She plays lacrosse and enjoys horse back riding.  Briana and her family have a dog (Angus), 2 cats, 2 birds, and 2 horses.  Briana loves taking care of hospitalized patients at the clinic and helping the staff bring sick pets back to good health.  Briana brings good energy to the team and clearly enjoys her work.
